Light School -

"At Bangla Help Light School in Bonorupa, Khilkhet, Dhaka, our little ones begin their day with smiles, excitement, and a bit of physical exercise! Watching them grow stronger—not just physically but also mentally, socially, and spiritually—is truly heartwarming. This small school, nestled in the heart of the community, is a place where children learn, play, and rise together. It’s amazing to see how something as simple as starting the day with exercise can light up their spirits. We’re so proud to be a part of the journey they’re on!

Takrat Mro

My name is Takrat Mro, a 15-year-old eighth grader at Bangladesh Adventist Seminary School and College in 2024.
I come from Lama, Bandarban, where my father and brother work as day laborers, while my mother manages our home. Studying with my sister, who is in the same grade, makes learning enjoyable.

I have a strong passion for academics, especially Bangla, my favorite subject. My dream is to become a police officer, and I work hard to achieve this goal with dedication and discipline. My school feels like a second home, where I share a close bond with teachers and friends. I love spending time with them and enjoy eating rice with vegetables, my favorite meal.

The sponsorship I receive has been a blessing, allowing me to continue my education without interruption. I am deeply grateful to my sponsor for believing in me and helping me stay focused on my dreams. I often pray for their well-being, knowing their support has made a huge difference in my life.

I am determined to complete my education, make my family proud, and pursue my dream. Though challenges may come, I am confident that with hard work and perseverance, I can achieve success and make a meaningful impact in the future.

Aungmenu Marma

Aungmenu Marma, a sweet and charming girl from Mirchapara, Ruma, Bandarban, lost both her parents to a fever at a young age.
Orphaned and vulnerable, she found hope when a caring relative brought her to Monosapara Adventist Seminary and School. Through the BCSS sponsorship program by Child Impact International, she received the support needed to continue her education, bringing relief to her relatives.

Now in class three, Aungmenu excels in English and dreams of becoming a nurse to help children in need. Her warm personality and willingness to assist others make her a beloved friend. She enjoys drawing, skipping rope, playing kabaddi, and has even won first prize in her school's sports day.

Aungmenu loves lilies, oranges, fish, and vegetables, and deeply respects her teachers, Madam Chowdhury and Sir Halder. Her story is a powerful testament to resilience, kindness, and the impact of community support, proving that with hope and determination, a brighter future is always possible.
